Camillus Edition BK2

I didn't find mine did, either....but it was the first Becker I ever stripped and didn't know any better. I'll be interested to see the bare steel; my Cam 2 almost looks as if it were roll finished/drop forged? underneath. No grind lines at all. It's also the only one of my bare Beckers that doesn't seem to rust....although Bladite did say it was supposed to be the same 1095CV as now.

Part of mine came right off in the first 15 minutes, but the rest was tough to get off. Ironically, the first part that came off came off clean, while the rest left marks, as if it didn't quite come off. I'll steel wool it again, see if it comes off. I used Klean Strip Premium. Mine doesn't have grind lines either. There is a lateral line going through it right above the grind, on the flat, on the non logo side. No biggie. I still have some cleaning to do on it. When I get the mod all the way done, I'll post it up. I still haven't decided what finish I want. Acid wash, acid etch, vinegar bath, etc. I want that grey look.

Mine's got the same line. Interesting....
I tried putting a Yin-Yang on mine with mustard over a year ago, and it's still on there. Good luck with the patina; I'd guess whatever you do will hold pretty well.

Must be from the roll stamping process.

Didn't realize a bit of the edge was rolled a bit. Sharpened her out.
