Yes sir. I bought some stripper last week. I purchased some Brazilian Ironwood scales from Tommythewho recently too. Gonna get a leather sheath for her as well. Not sure about the finish yet. I've been doing a bit of research on it. I thought about a blue/bleach etch, or perhaps just a vinegar dip. Convexing it has entered my mind...

I've always liked the looks of the older model BK2's, without the extended pommel.

I have plans for this one, oh yeah. Stay tuned.

I've never even used it since I modded it. I have another 2nd gen BK2 as well. This one is my 3rd, haha.

It was more of what it would look like clipped to me. I'm a drop point kinda guy, hence, why I bought another after modding that one.

It's very interesting to see the Cam version sitting next to the Kabar version. I knew there were differences but it's cool to see them side by side. Clears a few things up for me too. Thanks for that Warrior. Great score mate. I hope one day to pick me up one of the rarer versions of the knives we love so much.

Strip, and not sure about the finish yet. Perhaps just a patina, or maybe an etch. Wood scales, and leather sheath. Still on the fence about a convex job.

No problem. It's a cool knife. I wanted the solid tang, with no extended pommel. The Gen 1 BK2's from KA-BAR are solid tang as well, but have the extended pommel.

I didn't find mine did, either....but it was the first Becker I ever stripped and didn't know any better. I'll be interested to see the bare steel; my Cam 2 almost looks as if it were roll finished/drop forged? underneath. No grind lines at all. It's also the only one of my bare Beckers that doesn't seem to rust....although Bladite did say it was supposed to be the same 1095CV as now.
