Campbellclanmans give-away ( about time ) WINNERS ANNOUNCED.

Thanks for the chance! I'm in...I took this picture during summer but figure its fitting for this GA. The knife is a queen bear head in D2, fantastic knife and I think it really comes into its own in the great out doors.

And then my 2011 just cause its pretty when around trees. :D

FES - no, I hadn't noticed the dirt that the ice "pulled out" of the knives (are you sure you don't have a touch of the blarney in ye?)

Did you notice that in the lower right quadrant that two of the leaves juxtoppose themselves just enough to look like a small dagger hidden in the works?

Who says you need a machete :)

The pen blade cut her right open. Carl would be proud.

Great picture Kevin. It seems that the combination of holidays, Costa Rica, and a Leica is enhancing your photographic skills :)
As for the coconut...around here (where I'm now), I've seen locals open them pretty often with short machetes, but also with a short fixed blade (like a carving knife), just enough to put a straw inside of it :p
I'm still waiting for my knife to get here: a Tinker is not going to work fine in Caraibic setting

Fausto

Thanks guys! Fausto, maybe you are right again :)

Another of the same. Just more uses for this one. Its been a great companion on the trip, it has done EVERYTHING every single day. Tons of use and lightly honed at the end of each day.

Can't beat riding a bike to the beach and setting up for a nice sunset :)

Duncan, thank you so much! I'm not just referring to the giveaway, either. You have recently been the recipient of some generosity, but you have also given quite a bit in your time here. Your passion and enthusiasm for traditional knives is apparent through your posts. These photo competition threads are always fun to browse as well.

Here's a couple of my favorite pics that I've taken.

This is such a fine thread!! I am speechless!!
Pictures are indeed worth thousands of words!!!

Duncan, you're a good'un. Proud to know ya. I actually put some work into this pic. Shown on here before, but I was kind of proud of this one. ;)

Thanks, brother. And good luck everybody!

Meako, that's a really balanced well chosen group. I have the Tractor Green myself, the E-Z Opens and an Owl or three. Well done.

Duncan, not an entry as I'm completely camera challenged, but many thanks for your on-going presence and enthusiasm.

Regards, Will
