camping SAK

Selector pops only the SwissChamp, but mine doesn't have pliers. What is this I hear about corkscrew mini-screwdrivers?

Corkscrew mini-screwdriver is ....This

It threads into the corkscrew, useful for small screws like on eye glasses.

Not really sure what you have if it's not a Fisherman variant. Are you sure it's a fish scaler you have and not a saw?

+ 1 for the Huntsman. I have one with a blue handle and it goes everywhere with me. I pair it with a dedicated folder like my trusty Ritter Grip. Although while I'm traveling I use a #8 Opinel or my Salt I. I looked at the Outrider, but it seems a bit big for pocket carry and really only duplicates my Huntsman. Doesn't stop me from wanting one though :D I also agree about scissors on a SAK. i think they are very useful in such a range of situations.

Definitely a fish scaler and not a saw. Seems closest to the "retired Champion" than anything else I could find, except mine has no saws at all.

Do all models say "Officier" at the hilt of the folding main blade?

perpster,

The best resource for SAK information is over at http://www.knifeforums.com/ ........ once registered there, go to the Secret Order of the SAK, post there requesting access to SOSAK, which is listed directly below that.

It's SAK heaven!

Outrider! has all the tools of the Rucksack plus scissors and small phillips head, overall the best field knife one could own in a folding package, just one more comment about sak's, alot of people say they don't use the cork screw, I have used mine two times in the last week to open wine for my wife.
