Can anybody send me a USN account?

I belong to USN, I also belong to JerzeeDevil, both are really good forums. Granted my post count is higher here on BF than all the forums I belong to combined, but still visit both on a regular, semi regular basis.

Not sure why anyone would have any trouble joining....you might want to send the admins a email on the problem.

You need an IP address based Email account.
You can't use free email address's,like Gmail or hotmail.
They do this to avoid trolls.

All YOUR forum are belong to US.

:D

I've never been able to join. All my email accounts have been refused. Even one I was paying for several years ago. Maybe I wasn't paying enough.

Let me be the voice of reason - if it is that difficult to join, and the forum you seek to join has a fee merely to LOOK at the sale forums, why would you want to join it?

I have not used a "fee-based" email acct in years for any personal business. I see no reason to, unless I need something with a secured comms, which I highly doubt my knife-accumulation hobby will ever require.

I belong to BFC and JD as well as TacForums. There are about 2000 other choices out there I'd venture. If something is that big a pain in the ass to join, bag em.

I've joined forums and regretted it. Not being able to join might be a favor.

In my experience the USN prefers a healthy dose of politeness and cooperative respect.

Other forums seem to prefer less friendly behavior, especially when the newb utters blasphemy. Ask around for a body lift kit for a Jeep Cherokee, or express a belief that certain firearms or calibers aren't all they seem to be.

The tolerance level at each forum is unique. Membership - especially paid - is something different for each. Members are good or bad - and have demonstrated both, which confuses their friends and disappoints those who researched and found out the consensus was wrong.

Take any or all with a grain of salt, there is no guarantee a forum will always be what it seems.

Well, I dunno. I'm logged-in with an MSN e-mail account with no problems. (Just checked to make sure, actually.)

It's not a big deal anyway. BFC is way better.

Paraphrasing the wise words of Sal Glesser, "Not better, just different."

To each there own, I had no troubles when I registered at the USN. I was using my verizon wireless account.

I don't really want to turn this into a . . . well, I'm not allowed to say what kind of a match I'm referring to. But regardless, I just was on there, and the "first responders" forum seems to have the most activity right now. And every post starts off "I'm not a first responder, but. . . ."

Well, friends, I was a first responder at Columbine High School 11 years ago, as well as many, many other times. And I'm sorry, but when you start off a thread, or respond to one, with the words "I'm not a first responder, but," I immediately tune you out.

USN is a bunch of wannabes, for the most part. Including some of the knifemakers, who for Esav's sake will remain nameless (but you know who they are). Come back to me when you've walked the walk.

I think it would be best not to generalize the entirety of another forum. Samael, I respect your opinion but I seriously doubt you know that particular community well enough to make such an assertion.

Tirod3's post above explained my thoughts in a much more accurate way.... :)

I was sort of waiting for somebody to give me their BFC password. Esav would be a good choice I think .......

Let's stop any cross forum bashing, k? We don't need it.

I do not need another knife forum. It would almost be like forum adultery. Even when this went dark for like a year it seemed. I went on Facebook as the link suggested, at least I could see some of the same people there. I got issues...... If you did not know yet.

no disrespect to any goats)), but i venture to ask - why USN symbol is goat head?
it used to be skull, couple of years ago

I tried making a acct it took forever to hear back from them. When I heard back from them and clicked the link to start membership it took a long time and didn't work. I decided to just stay here.

Well friend, when you start off a thread with "I don't really want to turn this into..." I immediately tune you out for being a troll.

I notice you recently made a couple of posts in a thread in the photography forum. Are you a professional photographer or just a "wannabe"?

Not sure what "First Responder" forum you're referring to, I can't seem to find one on the USN. If you're referring to the Law Enforcement and Emergency Services one, it doesn't appear to have any posts starting with "I'm not a first responder", nor does it even close to having the most activity.

And for what it's worth, it's usually those people that talk about "Walking the Walk" the most have walked it the least.:jerkit:
