Can cutting your bone cause permenant damage

just got back from the doctor, he gave me some antibiotics and stitches siad i was lucky it didnt go to the marrow and i should be fine.

Good move. If it isn't to the marrow it'll be alright.
What did he give you ? Cephalexin/Keflex ? 500 mg ?
