Can I bring this to school?

At my former high school they had banned backpacks because they presented a problem in that with our new 'interactive' education they hampered kids' ability to move around the class room. That is BS, they didn't want anyone to bring a gun to school. I mean (please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not going to shoot anyone) if I wanted to bring a gun to school to massacre some people, I wouldn't have it in my bag, I mean, I have a GUN, who is gonna bother me. The school just thinks that by turning themsselves into a prison that kids will not be able to be violent.

At one point there were two fights in one day, two totally unrealted incidents, just stupid high school crap. There were no weapons involved and no one was really hurt. That day,our principal came on the annoncements to say that he didn't want any "turf" wars going on in our school, because one of the fights was between a white and a black kid. Why he jumped to that conclusion I don't know, but it was a running joke for a while. If anyone got in any type of argument we warned ourselves about 'turf' wars, and all had a laugh at our principal.

Christ, they really need to relax.

the stupidity stops (for me,anyway) when you get to college.

ID cards, yeah, carried one all four years of my high school career....and three different skewls. none of them kept non-students out of the buildings.
the worst was in new orleans. had to have em,no excuses. couldnt get in class without them. didnt have 5 bucks for a new one? they kept records...you would have to go get another one,and they would charge you 5 bucks times however many IDs you got before you could get your report cards,go onto the next grade, graduate, etc.

knives in skewl?
i carried em...just dont tell no one. we had a few cops at my last school, and one of em knew i carried, but he also knows im mature enough to not do anything STUPID.
of course,a lot of males (self respecting males, anyway :p) still carry knives to school, but no one says a word...

so,should you carry one?
its up to you...just be careful if you decide to.
