Off Topic Can it be traditional ? ( Stonewashed or bright satin stone tumble )

Thanks, tastes vary, and many of us like and appreciate folders of contemporary design, as well as traditional ones There's no reason why folks have to limit themselves to posting in one forum, a lot of years ago I used to post in Prac-Tac, as did Carl! :D ;)

I actually prefer traditional most of all, but the blade, thickness, and size were just right for an American made knife at only $14 so I picked it up.
It functions well so I'll just leave it as an ugly step child that lives chained up under porch.

I don't know about anyone else but I'd like to see this same blade finish on a case knife that would otherwise be polished.
They seem to go as ground for a working knife and polished for a more dressy knife, but I feel like this is perfect for both.

Some handle materials are only available in stainless for some reason, and their mirror finish is not my my favorite look.
I find the finish on this knife attractive and would love to see it more, it's like the fine stone tumble of a Buck or Victorinox but in a matte finish and it seems to wear gracefully.
