This link below was clicked on today, 8pm Central, March 27th.

I bought this knife through their website on the 23rd.
Today I emailed them asking for an approximate time of delivery.
Today, later, they emailed back saying the knife is discontinued.
I had to , of course, ask them to credit my cc card.
And if I hadn't emailed them for an approximate delivery time, heaven knows if and when I'd be notified that THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE KNIFE THEY'RE TAKING MONEY ON!

The link above is from today. Does anybody see the word DISCONTINUED there? Or is just set up to take your money and scr*w the customer?

They are not the first place to do this... Often, i will find threads like this in the GBU...
It would have been good practice to notify you or post it on the website...
I wish places would have a in stock button... like NGK...
Who knows... I would be annoyed too..

I bought something on a debt card.
They never called me at all for a month.
After calling and e-mailing for a week I got someone who said it was backordered.
I asked to cancel and be credited.
2 months later and several more e-mails and phone calls still nothing.

They robbed me.

Isnt' there some agency that deals with this kind of fraud described by posters in this thread? Interstate commerce fraud? I dunno, but they are an embarrassment to the knife industry.

Dafook-tach!!!

I just searched there and found nothing?
You can report an online company there...
Just go to BBB.org... and click file a complaint...

Thanks. We all rant (like me) when we get mistreated, but if it is repeated over and over, maybe we all need to do some kind of collective action. I admit I was seduced by their good prices. But what is price if you always end up losing in the end?

If they have not refunded your money, you can have your credit card company (especially if it is through your bank) dispute the charges on your behalf. Call them and tell them that it is a fraudulent charge since you never received the item and they will generally refund you the money and deal with the company themselves. I have had to do this on my card before.

Dave, email on its way.

Botach is a really great dealer ... to avoid. A star candidate for the Hall of Shame.
