Can someone tell me about the BUCK 703?

Been here a few years but still consider myself a newbie. This forum gets irritated if you reopen old threads. Not sure why but I am not the maker of rules. It is rude to be late for meetings in the US, but OK in Italy. It is rude to be "on time" to a party in many circles. It is rude for a "boss" to call you by your first name in parts of Europe. Stuff I might say to a male friend would be rude if I say it to my wife. You just have to learn and fit in.

I agree about the wealth of information contained in old threads. They can be linked in a new thread and serve the purpose of having the info that the new poster wanted to discuss or refer to. Preston

After reading all the comments, I have a question. I have found a Buck with a stamped blade marking of 703+. Any information on this knife?

The + is the date code for 1991. So that knife was made in 1991. There is a thread with a list of all the date codes in the stickies at the top of this forum.

My question has been answered. The code gave me the age and that's what I was looking for. Thanks for your help.
