Can someone tell me what my knives are worth?

Given to me by a friend, not sure of its value?
It says Minnick on the inside of the handle.

Jim makes a fine knife. The value will depend upon the material and type of knife and when it was made, if has been used or still pristine etc (from a few hundred into the thousands for some of his fancier work.)

Sure, I'll help you out. Email sent.

One of the best things I can think of is go through this site and see if you have similar knives that have sold here.

Then take a look at custom dealers and do the same type of thing as well as keeping an eye on evil bay.

If you do not have time, there are experienced dealers and experts who will appraise your collection. Sometimes buying/selling a custom that is is high demand is a case of being in the right place at the right time. Going to a show is a good start once you get an idea of what you have and what they are going for.

Here is the knife. Pretty nice find. Tell us more!

if I found that knife in storage, I would probably pee in my pants.

I'll roll the dice and offer $31. Gotta think in terms of keeping the mortgage paid these days.

...and dislocate my jaw by smiling so hard.

Sweet!!! Okay, experts! What is an older Plain Jane Lake interframe worth these days?

Looks like you just hit the lottery. I looked around and the closest one I could find was $13,000. It did however have a bale and escutcheon which this one does not. I guess it's most likely worth around $10,000? Maybe more if it were sent back to Ron for a polish.
