It would depend on the nature of the original problem. Someone who was purposefully deceitful, no second chances.
But something more forgiving, say I send someone money and they 'forgot' to send the knife for a long time. Next time they'd have to be willing to send the knife first, then collect payment. Otherwise it's not worth messing with.

For me, the ugly could not be forgiven, and the bad, maybe, maybe not. Screw me over in any way and there is going to be no second chance. Mess up a little and then make it right, that is something I could forgive.
