Can this be covered under CRK warranty?

As you can see in pics above, there's tiny chip on the right side of blade spine near the tip. At first I thought it was some sticky dirt on there but when I looked closer, it turns out that materials were missing. I really have no idea where it came from. Other than the aethetics, it does nothing to the blade. I'm just curious if CRK would fix that...and besides, the knife needs some sharpening and refurbishing anyway. Does anybody know? Thx!

Did Eduard really just say this on the CRK forum? From what it sounds like he has no personal experience with CRK.

DeceptionStrike--CRK's warranty and customer service is TOP NOTCH in the industry. Do not hesitate to contact them--they will do what is fair and right.

I have been a member of this forum almost 2 years. I have probably seen 4-5 incidents where someone complained about crks customer service. Out of those, none were valid reasons to complain imo. I think the op is in good hands and like you suggested, he should contact crk.

CRK's customer service is excellent, right up there with Kershaw/ ZT. They have always treated me right.

Might be a 21 or Classic, looking down at the blade from above and to one side? Not sure, just a guess.

The first people you should contact is CRK. We on the forums are not experts and can't say yes or no.

being from germany its sometimes hard to express myself in english.. i dont think chris reeve knives are shitty by any means . i own 2 myself but ive HEARD that chris himself is not a very friendly man and quite high-headed

I had questions when I first starting buying CRK and called and they seemed to be
