Can we get an official word on the Izula folder?

I know, I know... the Izula folder is mentioned often, but I haven't seen anything official from Jeff or Mike about it. Everyone just says "it's on the back burner."
No rush or anything, just wondering if there's a time frame or if it has officially been canned.


I saw these pics online, which sparked this question, because I want one badly now... and I'm not normally a fan of folders.

Ok, here's the straight scoop on the Izula Folder: We are still working through building this thing. We have no idea when we will actually get it made since we are going to do this in Shon's shop so that it is 100 percent USA made. Tom, Shon and I have been working on some drawing tweaks as far as the lock and mechanism goes. All I can assure anyone is this: 1) it will be made and 2) it will be the coolest folder on the market once we get it done.

This all makes me more than happy, regardless of time frame. The fact that ROWEN will be manufacturing it is totally worth the wait.

I am thinking that has got to be one awesome folder when it comes out. When I get one actually in my hand ( or two or three!) I'll probably sell off quite a few " inferior " ones. I have a lot of confidence in Esee product , so I'm sure it will be a great knife. I'm liking it a lot more every time I see it.
