Can you find the khukuri?

Yeah, you don't need to know how far behind you are, Cobalt. I'll let it go at this: I haven't felt comfortable since I sold a 38 spl and went to having only 9 of that caliber on hand.

Now, now boys. Let's not get to bragging or I'll have to pull my old Howitzer out of the hangar.

Bill

Oh, yea!! the russians had a going out of business sale and I bought a Russian T-80 main battle tank. TOP THAT!

Ok, you want to start a war here, that's fine. Trident missile sub with 24 missiles, each containing 3-200 kiloton warheads. I just picked on up. It was a blem, so I got a good deal on it.

!!!!!!!!TOP THAT!!!!!!!!!

Bill, thanks for posting the pictures. It certainly inspired a quick succession of gun comments, so here are my 2 cents: a Galil, a Czech made AKM or for real fun, a 1928 Thompson with a 50 rd drum and lots of good 'ole 45 Ball ammo. Yahoo.

Top That?

All Uncle Bill has to do is release a genetically reengineered and optimized strain of.......... Oh no!!!!

The dreaded--

Will the Trident Commander still care about his sub or if the reactor is in meltdown when visions of new model khukuris appearing like "Tribbles" are dancing in his head?

The firmament rents asunder. Beware of the khukuri virus, and realize NBC protocols cannot shield you from its wrath, nor will your T-80 make it to Nepal or Reno.

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <-------<

Cobalt: your comment about if you "want to start a war"? Where I live, if you mention war, people start thinking about overtime pay.

JP: you want lots of ball? Would 15 inch do? We have smaller stuff too.

You won't believe how much of the stuff is around where I live. Let me put it to you this way: when you shut down your computer, you know the last message that comes up about "It's now safe to turn off your computer"? That message makes me nervous.

Would I lie to you? No, I'd just do like I always do. Tell the truth, all the truth, just tell it in such a way that nobody will believe a word of it.

((edit 03-26-99 07:40 AM / P.S.: Around here, when you see a gal wearing a T-shirt that proclaims "Blown by the Best", she really does know how to make the earth move. Eat your heart out, Monica!))

In comes Phil to throw a damper on things.....with his DNA mumbo jumbo.

Rusty, I don't think you need to worry about people in your area not having work as it looks like willie has started one already.

Cobalt, this here is fooling around having fun.

The other is... well, once I took a deputy and went over to do a strip search on a six week old for signs of abuse and neglect in the embalming room of the local mortuary. Forgive me if I've told this before. Anyway, I don't get myself into things like that anymore if there's a chance to let someone else pay their dues. I just wait for the ones who now do the dirty work and resultantly need healing and compassion to find me. They do that frequently though God knows why, or what they find when they do so. Other than someone who's done that and found that the best he could do was never nearly enough.

((edit 03/26/99 11:35 AM / and it wasn't just the one, the other 500 investigations took a toll too. Most people, if they lasted, were pretty sick mentally after 50 investigations. I didn't leave until my body betrayed me and I was on nine medications and they weren't working. I had a wife and a kid I wanted to live to see grow up. End of whining.))

Alright Cobalt,

I'll perk you up. Beretta BM-59 and a new model HI khukuri with a Frank Frazetta /Boris Vallejo fantasy scene engraved on the blade.

Well actually that would perk me up.

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <-----<

Make that a 350 Rigby double rifle for me Phil, and I'll think more on the knife.
((edit 11:53 AM - Phil, on the blade, it should come stuck into a stone and only I can pull it out.))

Rusty,

You're just baiting me. Surely you mean the classic .416 Rigby, right?

Stay safe and all the best, Phil <----<

Phil: Nope, I meant the .350 Rimless Magnum (Rigby)introduced in 1908 w/ 225 grain bullet over 65 grains of nitrocordite for 3460 ft./lbs. of muzzle energy. Used to have a very sweet 9x63 double rifle that got stolen.

Speaking of 350 mag's, I always like the 350 remington and 358 norma magnums. But apparently no one else did. oh well.

416 rigby, great round, 416 remington also great round. Both are way overkill for this continent though. Maybe I'll go hunt squirrels with one.
