Can you ship it legally?.........

Yea but in canda it seams that all of the nice knives that we love in the USA are not alowed in there country. over here there is a major fan of the switchblades and the quick openers in which canda does not alow the in there country. I feel sorry for them because I know of severl people that get dealers to ship them and risk it to get them into there country.

I hear stories about shipping any knife to Canada and that is why I refuse to ship there. first of all I mainly sell switch-blades. I found out that they are not legal in their country. any knife that can be open with one hand is not legal in there country. I sell a bunch of smith and Wesson knives that are not switch-blade and are not spring assisted in opening but you can twist your wrist and get it to open just as fast as a switch-blade. I don’t want to screw any one over and I am not going to refund there money back because of their customs import laws. So to solve this problem where nobody get hurt or loses money I will not ship out side of the USA and I am probably losing money over it too.

That's just not true.

Switchblades, balisongs and others that can be flicked open with centrifugal force are not permitted.

Assisted openers and one handed openers with Spyderholes and thumb-studs and the like are permitted.

A one handed opener with a lose pivot is not permitted if it can be flicked open with centrifugal force.
Tighten the pivot and it's OK.

What you "hear as stories" are stories.

You can search the Canadian law on the Canadian government website for facts over stories.

then when I read on these board here and I look to see where they are located at they are making up stories?? I read here that the customs that is in canda has taken there knife because it is not alowed in canda.

No I believe them if it was taken, but you're making a big generalization that isn't true and may be believed by others that read your posts.

Not all one handed knives are illegal in Canada.

Spring assisted knives ARE permitted and there is a letter by customs posted here on BF that confirms that.

A one handed opener with a lose pivot will be seized if it can be flicked open with centrifugal force.
Tighten the pivot so it can not be opened with a wrist flick.

When I order I request that the pivot be tightened completely so the blade won't even move.
No seizures at all ever doing this.

Not all one handed opening knives are illegal in Canada.
