I feel a certain kinship to the OP. I have a metal hip replacement that was installed by an orthopedic surgeon, I have many knives and a dog, and I have opened my truck door many, many times. I think you are all being hard on the guy. After all he has sacrificed $2000 worth of knives in his quest to create the ultimate knife of all knives for our benefit. Sadly the knife he is so valiently trying to create already exists. I saw it in the BudK catalog the other day. 10" of bombproof 400 series stainless steel, full tang with real artificial black bone handle scales, stealth black tactical survival coating, and the proof that there is no better knife for all real life battle needs- emblazoned on the side in glorious old world font....."Death waits in the night". Seriously if I was a dog or a car door I'm pretty sure I would just fall over dead on purpose to avoid the mayham that knife would bring.
Will your knife support the weight of you, your bicycle, and three dogs all at the same time? This thread's creating more questions than answers. :grumpy:![]()
That's a damn good question. What if I need to ride my bicycle across a tight rope to escape three dogs wielding IEDs? Will the knife support the tight rope?!

did your orthopedist use only a knife, and at the same time testing on ur body to make sure his tools worked??????I feel a certain kinship to the OP. You guys might be laughing now, but just wait until you have to take down more than two dogs. Your average knife is no match for three or even four dogs! My Spartan Blades Harsey Hunter gives me the confidence I need to confront three dogs and IEDs. Perhaps even three dogs with IEDs! What if you need to cut through an auto body to escape three dogs with IEDs?!
So where is the OP? I am eager to hear more from this guy.
Standing on a knife hahahaHe's too busy hanging from his knife...
