Ok gang,

I just talked to Wally Gardner of Canal Streeet. Very nice man that I have had the pleasure of talking with before.

We are going to need 25 knives.

Details:
Blades A2 (A2 is a great knife steel IMO, and I have never had any on a folder, but my fixed blades in A2 perform quite well.)

Springs 1095

Handle Material (Stag horn not "bone stag")

Price including "BFC 2006" blade etch will be in the neighborhood of 70.00.
My thinking is that when it is all over and done the final cost will be around 80 give or take a buck or two.

This is an excellent price for a stag handled knife that has the machining involved that this ring knife has. Even at a wholesale level the difference between Stag and Bone Stag on the same pattern runs in the neighborhood of a 30 or more dollar difference.

(That price does not includeshipping to me and in turn to you. I will add the actual cost.)

If we can not hit 25 the deal is off. Once we place the order, we are looking at 8 to 10 weeks before they are in my hands for shipping to you.

Any more takers?

(Now I better start looking for 25 boxes.)

Thank you for your effort Bastid.....I'll try and see if I can help find any more takers...er, I mean payers.

Bill

Bastid; Let me know when and in what form you want the funds. thanks

Paul

Very good, db!
Thanks, Gus.
May I suggest the small Priority Mail boxes from the USPS? No cost to you, easy to come by.
Phil

I may be a day late and a dollar short, but I can't resist any longer.
Gus, if anyone backs out or if you can order more than 25, than please count me in for one. And yes I'm good for whatever it takes to get Spark one also.

I'm glad you posted a pic of a ring knife I had no idea what that was.

Bastid; Phil is right. The USPS will be happy to supply you with as many Priority boxes as you need free of charge, and Priority Mail is a great way to ship. It will run $4.55 with delivery confirmation, so if you charge a flat $5.00 or so you can pay for the gas to make the trip to the P.O. and make life simple for all of us by not couinting change. Money is waiting so just say when and where. Thanks again.

Paul

Please add my name to the list also, for the BFC knife

Thank you

Bastid, thanks a million. That's a better price for what we're getting than I had even hoped for. A2 blade steel, that's AWESOME!

By jingo, he's got it!! $5.00 Priority couldn't be fairer!! Gadzooks, we're afoot!!

At the rate people are joining, I wonder if we won't hit 50!!

Bastid, thanks so much working your butt off getting this thing organized. It sounds like a great knife and it looks like you got a good price. Let us know when, where and how and I'll send the money out. By the way, do we send a check or what?

I am a moderator in another forum ( www.t4r.org ) and I know it can be a lot of work for no pay. You are going above and beyond the call of duty.

I've never seen a knife like that. Looks cool. What are the blade length and handle length? What is the second tool? In the photo it looks like a nail file.
