Knowtracks I really like seeing that stag canoe with the double pulls, thanks for sharing! I missed that one some how!

Great thread, you all have great knives. I love the old Case models and Ed's singe blade canoe. I don't have canoe, yet. Don't really know why,but that will be fixed soon:D
Mike

Well, I "fixed" that, I got a 1997 Case canoe, with nice green bone. It is also my first with green bone and I like this color. I gave it sharpening treatment on my natural wet stones and it' perfect now.

Jani, did you ever get your Mutz canoe? If you did can you show it to us?

I'm a sucker for a long pull! I think this is the best Case has done in a long time on a canoe!

only have this queen, actually this is a gift for my wife, thought she might like it better as compared to the small green bone peanut which she found to be too small, and managed to cut herself a bit with the little serpent.

I gave my wife a Leek. Because it had the flipper and she has long fingernails that she wouldn't want to damage on a nail nick. As far as I know she's never used it. This pattern might work for her. I have several Buldogs. I think I'll give her one to use and see if she likes it. I might also try a GEC 25 EZ open Barlow as well.

We'll see what she thinks about them.

she likes to use the alox models from victorinox, soldier, solo, farmer.. and i thought the canoe is not that different from what she is used to.
of course, her favorite is a buck 110, but is a bit too heavy to carry around for her.

This is my Carl Schlieper Canoe in Stag an Carbon Steel! Great EDC
