Who loves the Canoes? I'm thinking about picking one up because I'm an addict. Do they have one backspring or two? How is the Case CV Amber Bone Canoe?

Of all the Case Canoes that Amber Bone CV is my favorite thanks to the CV steel. Easy to sharpen, holds an edge well, and if you like patina on a blade it will do so easily. The amber bone is very handsome as well.

I had a Canoe for a LOOOONG time as my EDC. It was recently replaced by an AG Russell pocket carver, but the Canoe is an oustanding design. There's no question that I'll have a few more.

They are hard to beat for general pocket carry with their rounded bolsters and slim design.

Add to that two nice spear point blades on its simple frame and you've got a winner for sure. :)

I love mine and it is carried almost everyday in my watch pocket. Along with a Copperhead in the right front pocket. They both are my favorites. I would highly recommend it. I have two more coming soon. I am excited about that.

I just picked up a nice Queen #64 amber bone canoe in D2 from knivesshipfree. Nice carry knife.

Wow - that looks great. The bolsters look a lot bigger/rounder than the pics of my Case Canoe, are they?

Are Canoes only 2 blades? I've always thought this Hen was a Canoe because of the bolsters.

With canoe-like Case baby butterbean.

I just received one of these Queen Canoes in Amber Stag Bone last week.

It is a BEAUTY to look at, with great snap in the blades.
The use of one (substantial) backspring allows it to ride nice and slim in the pocket.

And it was shaving sharp right out of the box.

This was one of my most satisfying all around knife purchases in quite a while.

I picked up a Queen City canoe in 1095 just this past week and it has been really hard to not put it in my pocket every day. I picked it up to try a new pattern and not really knowing if I really would like it. No question about it, its a very nice EDC pattern. The Queen canoe is very well built and a good looking knife, too.

I carry one everyday- case in cv - similar to the one pictured above except mine is sporting a patina from fruit. I love it.

So if you guys had to pick between a Case CV or the Queen w/ D2, which would it be? I might try the Queen just because I don't have any Queen knives yet and I already have a few Case CV knives.

Thats hard to say from the pics. They may be slightly larger/different, but to me they look about the same. Guess I need a Case Canoe for a comparo.

Hi,

It's pretty obvious, you need both!;) I carry a Case CV almost everyday. Easy carry and cuts well.
