I like the subtle changes they made. Really sharp looking knife. Always has been worth it in my opinion and I know I won't be disappointed when it finally arrives.
 
Great looking knife, to my eye. Reminds me in some ways of Microtech Whaleshark, with the big pivot, and general shape.
 
Its everything I dreamed it would be! lol Now its a matter of the right timing for the store, or if Dave gets enough to reach my number lol. I still can't believe I was able to hold onto the 480 I set aside for this beast for the past 1.5 years lol
 
What's the cutting steel of this knife? I knew it went from Vanax to Bohler. Does this still have that bohler steel?

My guess would be all of dave's are spoken for through pre orders, I asked about the 560cfcb a while back and he said his lists on both that and the 777 were overfull already

I got on his list early and got one. I was just wondering how many he got.

I keep seeing folks saying that they were able to get on the pre-order lists. For those who intend to keep them.......Congratulations!!


However, for those who are unsure or who got on the lists but decided that they don't really want one or would prefer to get something else...........let me be the first to say "I'll take it!!"

I even put up a WTB post a while back offering to pay someone for their pre-order spot. I'm doing everything I can to figure out how to get one of these early. If I could get a TiLT and get on a list for the 0888Max, then I should be able to find something that has a production of 1000, but we'll see. I'm keeping my hopes up

Get in touch with me and I will DEFINITELY purchase it from you......barring the highly unlikely event that I'm able to snag a non-pre-ordered one off of a website when they throw them out there in the next few days.

I'll be hoping to hear from someone!!

I know John my face exactly lol. Lets not venture there in this joyous/exciting/scramble to find one/ moment in production knife history [perhaps over-exaggerated, but what can you say I'm excited, and I don't even know if I'll get one yet! lol]
