Can't believe it!!!....0777

The thing is... I really really like the looks of this knife, but if I was going to spend this much money on a knife I'd much rarher get a CRK or a Strider... Just my .02¢
 
Personally, I kinda miss the white blade face of the prototype. Not enough to cancel lol.
Does the release version have the gold colored hammon line? I can't quite make it out in the pics.

It looks like it kind of blends in with the knife, but if you look, its there, just doesn't smack you in the face.
 
Folks - FYI - Got mine in the mail today. SWEET !!! No sense putting photos up as the site I got mine from has great photos of exactly the same knife. FYI - My S/N is in the 90s. I am intimate with in-hand detailed evaluation and working of the best of the best custom flippers and this thing will not disappoint you even at full retail price no matter what you have or have experienced (assuming naturally that you like the style). Blade centering is perfect. Lock-up out of the zipper case is right at about 50% with no blade play or movement and no sticking. Detent is fabulous. Keep your thumb off the lock bar and it's a rocket. Right in the heart of the standard distribution of the best of the best customs on flipping action. Gripping normal and reverse is fantastic and the purchase is like super glue. The knife is light and thin feeling in hand beyond expectation and feels like a trim 3.25" blade vs a 3.8" blade. The edge grind is very consistent full length both sides and comes to a symmetrical point. The clip has a nice flex (not too stiff or too limp). I can't spot a flaw on mine. I have ZERO buyers remorse at full retail. I can't predict how difficult they'll be to get and sure I'll bum if I see an opportunity at the typical -20%, but not until I get that one in hand too :D. I wanted this so bad when i saw the prototype, now that I have a jo b, im gonna have to try get one :p, Ill probably end up paying 600 max
 
UPDATE Part 1: I hate to make it worse on the folks not as lucky as me yet, but this thing is freakin just flat out an amazing piece in hand no matter what you've experienced. Unless I have a ringer of a piece, I predict the ZT 0777 is watershed forever in knife history and possibly changes the industry. I have flipped it about 100 times already and there are only a very select handful of custom makers that can produce a mechanically functioning gem like this. Knuckle up you hard core plinkers and launch this lever and she pops from rest to lock-up like a catapult with a seriously assuring "ka-chink". This lock does not stick at all. It's amazing what can be achieved when folks understand machining geometry and material properties and have the design cleverness and manufacturing capability to bring it home.

So which companies are shipping? I have two preorders in and haven't heard anything yet. I thought I was toward the top of the wait list too....
 
Mine is at the p.o. so i guess the place that had em for 600$ never cancelled my order and I didn't know it was coming in. If anyone is interested I have a trade post up and I am also willing to sell it!

Pretty sure kershawdave has them and another non bladeforum dealer. The nonbladeforum dealer sold out fast though, and I have a preorder with blade HQ, and haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully they are at least on their way.

I wouldnt even mess with the fake. The guy responsible for the fake 0777 from russia tried to sell me one for $350. I could only laugh at him. EDITED: found the one your talking about. Thats nuts.
