So you previously tried to make one knife, messed up, have the entirely wrong grinder for stock removal knives, never heard of W2, are trying to make a khukuri for knife number 2/3, and are concerned about selling to customers who only know about 1095?

I emailed them and they said they only go to 1 1/2". Thanks for posting those alternatives i'll keep them in mind but i really like 1095 steel. I never made a knife but have had many in 1095. It's strange how they have all these other bars in that size but no 1095, i thought it was a very popular. They have 1075 in my size, how's that stuff hold up to 1095?

I really like 1075. It is easy to heat treat and holds a wicked edge. If they have 1075 in the size you want I would go for that.
