Carbon Fiber, Composite Blade, 0560.

Keep your voices down...Until Blade, nobody knows but us. Don't worry you won't miss out, I promise.

Don't make me regret posting these type threads.

EBOK.

Hopefully the 110v is run hard!

I hope people keep quiet like Thomas asks so we can continue seeing these kinds of threads. I've never been disappointed by a ZT blade hardness yet, and I sure don't think it's gonna start now.

The cutting edge will be CPM-S110V.

You just made my day and made my S110V Shallot not as snobby as it once was :(
I am glad I waited to get a 056X, good things are coming. . .

Awesome news, can you tell us how exclusive this steel is to production folders. Is Kershaw still the only one?

I believe Strider still works with S110V, albeit in a limited basis.

Well its good company to keep and since Strider has his name on the 0300's, I'll let it slide.

So apparently the new in house design is still super secret? No pics, mention, etc. . .

Screw the spyderco flipper I've got to start saving for this.

I made a deal with my family that I wouldn't buy anymore knives unless ZT came out with a composit 560. ;)

how much weight do you think the carbon fiber will save vs the regular 560?

The difference between G10 and carbon fiber Military, another larger knife, knives is .2 ounces, so I'd say nothing significant. It just looks awesome :D

I agree. Thomas promising that we won't miss out is a glint of hope that it won't be a super limited run. :)
You just need to get your new channel up and running so you can afford it. I'd certainly like to see how S110V does on your rope.

Edit: I see you did an RJ Martin with S110V, now that I look. Still would like to see how ZT's does.
