What kind of carbon fiber are they using that it's just 1 ounce lighter than a giant slab of titanium? Should be a much more significant difference, especially considering how massive the scales are on those things.

Titanium liner on the carbon scale side for support, I'm sure that makes up the weight. I don't care about it's weight just the durability of the carbon liner.
Ok. Lol. I'm done. But I really do like the Grayman's. If ya can't tell. They seem small in length but the blade is actually about same cutting edge. Even more than the strider. The only bitch I have is how bad the edges came in both of mine. Had to redo the edges on both but it was worth it to me anyways.
