carbon fiber manix 2

My guess is that Esav edited out whatever the rules violations were, Not saying this is what happened, but he may have offered the knife for sale or trade.

You sir, are a mind reader.

Yes I am new here, I made a stupid mistake.
The moderator graciously edited out my mistake and let it go.
Obviously there is a dedicated Forum for knife sales or exchanges.

Back on topic!
What do you make of this.
I think he is talking about grinding off a lot of metal! I wish there was a picture.

Recently purchsed a spydie ManixII sprint run s90v. Love the Geometry and ergo's of the knife but the ball cage spring was so tight for open and close. I took the knife apart and took the lansky diamond and ground about 1/8" off in length and groun about 1/3 off the diameter. It works fabulously now. Anyway for those of you with the same prob (and if you have the knife you have the prob) give it a try.

Thanks, corrected. :o
Back to our regularly scheduled program.

A quick search on a popular auction site shows these are now going for over $200.

Seems silly, when they first came out you could get them for $165.
And surely Spyderco is planing more variations on the Manix 2.

The blade on my CF Manix 2 is off center at the tip when closed. I'm not sure if it's the handle or the blade that's the problem. If i squeeze the handle in the middle, when closed, the blade centers itself.

Other than that big flaw everything else is as near perfect. When i release the lock the blade falls open or closed depending on the angle of the dangle.
