This just looks unbeatable to me. I really can't wait.

EDIT: pictures source: http://spydercollector.nl/

Might be nice to at least credit the gentleman (Wouter aka Mr. Blonde) whose photos you're not only using, but linking to on his own site.

Just shoot me. Somebody linked me to a very official looking site that had all these great pictures and I wanted to share what I had seen. I didn't even know whose site it was. I provided a link in one of my threads to the source. Sorry.

I think Spyderco has a plan and it invloves separating me from some of my cash! I really can't see how I won't buy this one. I loved the old Stretch but like all knives it has some flaws. This Stretch II fixes almost everything that I didn't like about the original. If ever there was a sequel that put the original to shame, I think this is going to be it.

The first Stretch didn't sell that well but those of us in the know saw it's potential. I'm glad Sal gave this another go around. I think it will sell at least as well as the CF Military.

 :D RIGHT ON! And NO WORRIES!!

Its the web baby..... And you were just trying to spread the good word!

Thanks for the pic post!

I really like the looks of this. I'm almost afraid to ask, but does anyone know how much it it will be going for?

Hot Monkey! That is a great looking design -- and it's ZDP 189 no less! my Manix and Chinook are going to have some serious competition in the rotation...
Thanks for linking the pics, boss.

Thanks a lot.

I just thought I had made up my definite wish list and now I've to put another one on it :grumpy: :D

Got any specs?

Big  to Spyderco for releasing more sprint run models in carbon fiber and premium steels, while keeping them affordable to those that want to pay the extra dollars. Seeing the praise for the recent carbon fiber Military (not just here, either, but over in the General section), I'm sure this one will catch-on with those that prefer the premium materials. I know I'll be getting one. :)

"I'll take it". Hell yeah. It looks like a really high-end Cara Cara. What more could you ask for?

Well there goes my budget for quite a while. I'd better start saving....
I think it will be close to 300 US for this sweet knife...
Thanks for the pics!

"I think it will be close to 300 US for this sweet knife..."

Why do you think that? What have you heard? I haven't heard a price yet but I was assuming it would be more in line with the CF Military with a steet price around $150. If it is $300, that is going to limit sales a bit.

ouch! I hope it's not $300. $150 (obviously) sounds a lot better. Is it the carbon fiber or the steel that would make it so much more expensive?
Regardless, it really is a great looking knife -- did Sal design this one? It's got 'instant classic' written all over it.

IIRC, according to TazKristi, the MSRP will be $249.95 which should put "average street price" in the USA somewhere around $165.

If you want to see all of Wouter's pictures and descriptions of the upcoming Spdyercos and Byrds that were at the Amsterdam show earlier this month, plus some input from Kristi and from other forumites who attended the shows there and in England, you might want to take a look at this thread of his on the Spyderco Factory Forum.

Thanks for the compliment I guess. As my professors taught me, proper sourcing is next to godliness! I'm happy to provide links and pics, but I do appreciate the props for taking the pics.

Thanks Deacon for offering the source. And mucho thanks to Spyderco for allowing me to take pics of their wonderful designs.

Love Stretch ergonomics (have 2 :) (used to have 3 of 'em but one gave to my hunting buddy)), though neither kraton nor carbon fiber are among my favorites...
I would love Stretch in G10 and S30V !!!!!!!!!!
It would probably be one of the best Spyders ever !

Man that's a nice lookin knife. Any word on it's availability and/or release here in the USA?

You'll have to forvgive me, I'm quite ignorant on specifics of Spyderco; I just know I love em! :D Therefore, if that's a stupid question please, disregard.
