"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

We don't go out to eat much anymore, because my people filter's full, but this evening we went out to our local drive-in, the Red Rabbit, for a Bunny Burger & fries. It's nothing fancy, but they have good burgers, and they've been owned by the same family since 1964. They're only open Fri, Sat, and Sun in the Summer, but they do a heck of a business.

I had an operation on my eye to repair a macular hole!Macula.jpgNote the ink on my forehead to make sure of the correct eye needing er.. correction!! Good job I hope!! I feel good - no pain killers required!
No flying for 8 weeks , as there is a gas bubble in the eye to help the retina heal correctly!!

Glad there's no pain, and here's hoping the surgery is a success. I don't know about you, but no flying for eight weeks wouldn't be a problem for me. I haven't been on a plane since I came back from Vietnam in 1968.

10-4 on the ink. They did that to me when I had my cataracts fixed a couple of years ago. (They fixed one eye at a time, so two surgeries.)

Heal fast!
