That is the one gun I have lusted after the longest. Alas, living in California means it will never be more than a fantasy…

So that when you ask the Canadians why THEY can get a 2.5 MOA version but you can’t, they can say, “Sooorrryyy…”

Less time consuming and less precise to make a 3.5 moa dot. They probably dont even want the US market to know that a 2.5 version exists.

Maybe had to make a new sku for Canada import reasons or to avoid contract conflict?

Companies have to do things like that a lot especially for guns/optics

You maybe right. Generally speaking the smaller the red dot, the more "perfect" the glass has to be and the electronic work takes longer( my imperfect understanding).I think the only ones in the US are the Trijicons? Probably the 3.5 was tied to LE contracts in USA, and the 2.5 for Europe and Canada. But other than the USA, everyone gets the option of both.

Edit: Meant to say, the only 1 moa dot in the USA, are the Trijicons.
