Tried to capture the color of the handles the best I could. It's a very nice light gray, I like it a lot, but dirt will show very easily. Nonetheless, I'm stoked!

Hopefully enough people will be turned off by the ridiculous color that I will be able to find one at a decent price. I'm more interested in the blade steel than the color, but I agree the color was not an inspired choice.

got it directly from the SFO.

The color is not that bad, it really looks better in person than in the pic. But be ready for smudges and dirt to show really easy.

Thanks. Too bad I'm on the East coast. I'll just have to see if I can snatch one up within the next couple of weeks.

Cool! Looks like the same color of gray G-10 that Strider used on some KnifeArt exclusive SnGs recently (calling it "Arctic Gray"). If so, you're definitely right that it'll show smudges/dirt easily. I don't mind, though: that stuff gives a knife character. :D

Sorry for going OT but...I was with my finger on the "add to the shopping cart" for that Sng you mentioned especially for the S110V but decided to sleep on it one more night to
decide whether I wanted it or not, because of the Artic Gray handles. Woke up the next day and decided to get it. Sadly it was gone. :(
Don't tell me you were the one who pulled the trigger on it...

But at least I will get my hands on this Para 2 CTS-20CP as I have one on preorder at Howes (and I am one of those who prepaid for it, so I am guaranteed to get it...:)...)!

Haha...nah, I snagged mine the first day KA had them on the site, and there were more in stock for a few days after I placed my order.

Just from the short time I've been carrying my SnG, it's already become one of my favorite G-10 colors. And now, having seen the pictures, it's yet another reason I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on one of these Para 2s. Lucky you to have one guaranteed!

Smart man, smart man! I shouldn't have stalled re. that SnG, I really regret not having gotten one of those. The price (400) was right too, just like any other regular SnG with no special handles: basically they didn't charge you anything more for having such an exotic steel...At the end though I still went and bought myself a Strider: SMF w/3/4 grind, Ranger Green, in the usual S30V...beautiful knife, perfect in every aspect. It helped me get over the "loss" I felt for not getting that S110V SnG... :D

Re. the Para 2 CTS-20CP, yep this time I acted in a smart and TIMELY way and ordered+paid for my CTS-20CP. I am one of those lucky guys who will receive one of the 5 that Howes knows they'll get for sure. I am sure you'll find this Para 2 somewhere...However I don't think I can say the same for a Strider in S110V, especially at that price...

So when do you think other dealers will ship em?

No one can say for sure...but last time I saw something similar (=someone getting a new edition of a knife straight from the factory), dealers were getting them pretty quickly, say a week or two after. But again, who knows...

DUDE. I am so pumped for this knife!! I've been on a pre-order list since last fall, and I really, really hope it ends up working out (there are like 10 people ahead of me, it should be fine I think).

I really like the color a lot. The light gray really stands out and is something new that goes well with a new high-performing steel. I can't wait to see it in person!!

It's not as "pretty" as the CF one...but I like that, I don't think I would bring myself to use the CF one much. This one screams "utility", and it's a great platform to try out the new steel and really put it through its paces

My dealer says the collector club ones shipped to them already, and are going to arrive at the dealer in a few days. I'd say that means the regular ones should be like a week after that, so early the first week of May is my guess.

I put my order in to KC the end of last Novemeber . If I don't get one I will be devastated and spend way to much on one in the secondary market. Let's hope I get one!
