Carry a fixed blade without a belt?

Quite a few affordable, light, non-tanto fixed blades with clip - CS Braveheart, Meyerco Persian, various Bokers, etc.

What you going to do with the fixed blade in place of a folder though? I like one hand open, close, and replace with a folder for day in and day out stuff. With a fixed blade you can do that when carried in plain sight but concealed iwb, pocket, etc. it is going to take two hands and/or more time to put it away. Depends what convenience you need, what capabilities you need, how often...but you might just go back to a folder anyways.

Nice knife and sheath, where can i get one of those sheaths?I wear a belt all day at work and i dont want too when im home but while im at home is where a fixed blade would come in more handy, or while im out relaxing fishing and stuff.. many O' time have i brang a folder with me fishing and when i was done i spent 20 minutes taking it apart cleaning and oiling it when i got home, fixed blade would be easier but i didnt bring one because i didnt have one because i didnt buy one because i dont know how to carry it.. lol epic story right? I really like the sog seal pup.

Does anyone know if you take that thing thats screwed to the back of the kydex with the belt loop off of it could you attach like a Clip? like the blacktech klip or something?

That is the sheath from the maker, I am pretty sure one of our craftsmen here could make something similar for you. It is much easier than having to string it on a belt

I only want a fixed to use around because if im doing something dirty or in and near salt water (i live pretty close to shore) its just a pain to use a folder.

am I the only guy to recommend just buying some real pants? quit leaving the house in sweatpants sheesh.

that said, the esee 3 carries well in the pocket, and you can set up the clip in different ways to clip it to your waistband or something.

I wear my button up belt loop zipper work pants for 10 hours a day from the second i get out the shower until after i eat dinner and go home.. i think i earned the right to go out in sweat pants. wakeup at 6:30 shower put on pants leave at 7. Get to work at 7:30 break at 9:30 lunch at 1 break at 3:30 and go home at 5:30.. 2 15 minute breaks and a hour lunch. by the time i get home its after 6.
