Carrying any special or particular knife on the 4th of July?

Gary,
That's a beautiful knife!

Case Redbone Copperhead for me.

We do our fireworks on the third in Butte, America. Happy fourth everyone, Jerry Halfrich Hidalgo is in my pocket while I water the lawn and enjoy a hand crafted brew.

Thanks Todd! It's a nice little knife for Independance Day.
Happy 4th to all you USA knife nuts!

Carrying an American-made pocket knife does seem appropriate today.

Thanks for the suggestion. :)

My house sits on the edge of a canyon. From the second floor I can across most of southern San Diego up to Point Loma. Tonight after dinner I'll sit comfortably in the bedroom sipping a "refreshing ale" and watch sky rockets from about half a dozen shows.

Today I have my favorite pair of knives...

Well I changed my mind before I left for work and decided to carry my Case 6292 Texas Jack with me:

Figure I might as well get the patina going on it sooner or later, so it's first job was to section an apple for me.

I thought for today the most appropriate knife in my collection would be a government issued Kutmaster stockman. Perhaps with my next cell phone I'll be able to take and post a decent picture. Have a safe, happy, and cool holiday everyone!

As you know Frank, I know exactly the view you're talking about. I can't think of a better way to relax and have a beer.

Have a good evening.

Great pic. Is the second a Texas jack also?

The red one in the upper corner? That's a Winterbottom Sunset Bone Medium Jack (62032 SS), same pattern as the Small Texas Jack.

I have since dyed that Medium Jack to a sort of light chestnut brown. It looks like this now:

The pic of the 6292 was cropped down from a group shot of several of my Case jack knives:
