Carrying loaner knife vs pry bar?

Why are you looking to add a knife or pry bar.
Might be better served if you upgraded your friends.
Then they wouldn't break your stuff in the first place.

Get a Shard...hell, get 5. I have on on all my keychains and it has been just enough tool plenty of times. Paid for itself the first time I used on to get myself out of a bind instead of reaching for my knife. They also fit on a caribiner nice so you can just slide it off and hand it to whoever you are trying to help...if it doesn't make it back to you, just pop on another one and you are only out like 7 bucks.

I've given Shards to most of my family members and a couple friends that may be interested in having a little something extra available on keychain. But personally I carry the BokerPlus Ti Pry. Gives a tiny bit more leverage than the Shard, but still easy to carry on chain. Plus it's titanium, so you can anodize it to match your knife.

I don't loan knives unless I've got a $10 tosser available.
