It looks like you got a good one, with well matched sides.Got my Bonestag Teardrop, 2-blade CV Wharncliffe today. Really happy with the blade combo and the size. It was a bit too shiny for me so I dulled everything down with well worn 600 grit paper and burnished it with some firm veg tanned leather to a satin sheen. While they do not look like stag to me I do like how they look and this they covers will age nicely in pocket and in use.

I like the coloring tooI like the color the burning added. Nicely done. Here is my large 375 Stockman (2005 vintage). This has well matched covers front and back. Does not look like stag but I like the coloring. Should age well once it hits my pocket tomorrow.
