I have to use the nail nick really can’t get my fingers on enough of the blade to pinch it and when you try to pinch farther back the spring was too strong at least on mine for easily opening

I had nearly forgotten they existed and have been saving up for a couple of the 2018 forum knives, a Protech Magic, or a Northfield #81 stockman (if I can even find one). Now I may have to side-track one or all of those plans just to pick up one of these Case Backpockets. Thanks a lot.

i wish these had slightly beefier blades. its blade to handle ratio was slightly disproportionate to me when I had some of these awhile back

Mine showed up today. I'm very happy with it, no issues for me. The thing is HUGE! Here's a photo with my Lloyd Shadow Trapper that is 4" long. I'm not sure how much carry it will get but I'll give it a go.

It should fit in that beautiful horizontal belt sheath of yours. I carry mine in a belt sheath most of the time. It gorgeous Gary !!

Very nice it is big wish it was a tad smaller carries nicely tho (except when it flips sideways in your pocket ) light and thin and rides near the top of my pocket with the lanyard barley poking out which I like a lot. Carried it the last 3 days and in normal pockets it was great riding how you’d like it to but in deep pockets it flips sideways a lot and that’s kind of a pain

I really like it, definitely a bargain at the price. Mine does have a crack in the handle that I might contact Case about and see if it should be stable or needs repair.

Awesome shadow! I have a Jeffery Mitchell shadow on order. It's 4.25" so right between the two, and your picture is really helpful.
