Case & Bill Ruple Collaboration

This really is interesting news, and I’m looking forward to see how this project develops.

I feel lucky to have a couple of knives from Bill Ruple. The workmanship on these is impeccable.

Here‘s an amber stag single blade Trapper…

And, here’s a Bow Trapper. The covers are vintage rag Micarta, and the shield is done in vintage Westinghouse Micarta…

Great news to hear and can’t wait to see what this collab generates. Here’s my only Ruple with the Case/Bose Premium Stockman (previously posted)…

He also did some interesting Stags!!View attachment 2120848

Thanks Jim!!
His filework was always well done!!View attachment 2121144View attachment 2121146View attachment 2121147
And his knives always came with a hand-stitched leather pouch!! (A patient wife!!)View attachment 2121148
All stunning specimens, gents. A good successor to Bose.

Anyone have an update about the Ruple/Case collaboration? 🤨 It's been a good long while since it was announced, but there's nothing on Case's site, no new models, nothing (that I've seen) on their social media. I hope there wasn't a falling out.

Yes, about a year now. Maybe CASE decided against it given some of the supply shortages or?

Yea, I was looking forward to these and it's been nothing but silence. Maybe those who wait patiently will be greatly rewarded?? 😅 Would still love SOME sort of update...

Purely my speculation with zero proof??
I wonder if Case is not doing too good?? The last few vault releases are still around, they seem to have dropped a few patterns, tiny shields?? 🤔
Went to 2 major retailers today that used to have Case. Zero!! 😞

I’ve been eagerly awaiting these myself. Hopeful we hear some news soon.

Per Mr. Ruple himself they are planned to be available for sale at this year’s Blade Atlanta.

I plan to try to handle it at the show. It doesn't strike me as a must have particularly even though I am a Ruple fan, but it's extremely exciting to see these collabs come to fruition. The copy does call it "the first of what promises to be a series..." so maybe we will get a Lanny's, two-bladed trapper, BP, something less daring ;)
