Case bone sodbuster jr.

I ordered one. They are inexpensive enough that I will at least be able to put the stainless through its paces for my own education and have a fine looking knife to boot.

Here is a pic of the Bone next to the yellow Delrin and the carbon fiber

Very nice pictures. I got two of these in the mail a couple of days ago and they look like they will make a nice carry knives. Nice size and not too thick.

Better get one while you can. Heard that they might not make them again because of all the problems they had with production. The store I work at received 4 late last week and we are already sold out.

Mine finally came in. Carrying it today. It was reasonably sharp from the box but I decided to change the bevel a bit and get it shaving! Fit and finish is pretty nice but the blade is not centered. Not going to worry about it since Im going to use this knife as a test bed for the Case stainless steel. So far its razor sharp and the tests have begun!

Congrats bro, hope you keep us updated on your results of the steel test! I never worry about blade centering unless it rubs the liners, especially on my soddies since they are made for work and hard use. I do realize to some that is an issue though and I can't blame them when they pay a premium for an upgrade in handle or steel. Happy cutting:D

I see Soddies the same way. Heck of a deal for the price! It doesnt rub the liner even though it looks like it might. I can crink it myself if it every bothers me more. The blade is tight, not a very crisp snap but thats because the fit is tight. It will loosen up a bit as the brass liner wears in. Should get really smooth. Nice slim package, perfect size!

I like the look of that bone a great deal, jigging too.

One thing might bother me, the pivot pin doesn't have an extra 'washer'/ring on it, I hope this wouldn't lead to bone cracks in that area as it takes a lot of extra stress I suppose.
