Case/Bose 09

I was just waiting for Charlie to post.

I pick C too. :D.

Please don't start Riad thinking about one of those in ivory.

My brother-in-law is a cardiologist in Manhattan and I don't want him to have to go in this weekend.

(and I get a little wheezy thinking about it my own self)...
:D

Ah, but it's just another reason for staying alive a long time:D

My son just got back from SHOT, got the Old Dog's signature on a Case brochure for the old man (Thanks, I appreciate it!). He spotted the KnifeHead as well.

What is the name of the pattern ? ,of this knife.
Thanks,
-Vince

Tony calls it a Norfolk Knife. I didn't see any official material showing that this is what Case is calling it. They don't seem to be too concerned with the name...I spoke with a couple of the guys from Case and they didn't know what it was called yet.

Last years collab, Arkansas Hunter, was so named by Tony when asked by the folks at Case what to call it.

Works for me  I'm so glad it's a smaller size knife.Makes it realistic to carry.

I keep coming back to this thread. That is really a sweet pattern and with the sunken joints, it is going to be a very pocket friendly knife. I. Then when Tony does his thing ya get a pretty big touch of class. Those swedges really complement the whole package.

I like the way they are mixing things up every year. The decision has always been a good surprise. (at least to some of us.) ;)

Thanks for getting those pics up Mike and Kerry.

The blades are "shouldered in"...mostly ground on the inside of the blades so that they will pass each other as they close. No crinks on this knife. This will be a very light, thin knife to carry for a double blade.

Also check out the eased handle to allow access to the nail nick on the small clip blade.

It's a great pattern, I'm glad everyone likes it.

Kinda reminds me of a Ole # 46 Tested pattern. The 46 was always 3 bladed I think? I like the Norfolk really well. A bone scaled one and a Ebony in my future if offered...

Like it??? I've never seen anything like it before:D

It's a Knife Awakening!

It looks authentic traditional but individual and innovative, the prototype pix are just staggering.Original & beautiful and one you just NEED to use. I really like the name too, a good crossover between the one in the US and the one in old UK.

Like is a wonderful understatement:thumbup: Can't WAIT for it to come out and I think I speak for many here......

It is going to be tough waiting for this one!! I can see it in nice thin "blackened" stag, just like they did it on Norfolk Street! Or in Winsted, CT!!!!

Wow. I could see that knive being one to carry for a lifetime, and then there would be fights over who gets it after that. I love the blade choice, and like Waynorth, I'd love to see one in stag. And that jigged bone is awesome. Ebony or a pearl handle would be striking too. Will be fun to see the handle choices.

I really dig that single spring construction. What is the closed length?

If history holds true it will be towards the end of the summer before they get into distribution.

As far as getting in line. Best to call your favorite Case dealer for pre-ordering.

I'm on it. I like that knife exactly as it is.

Green Jigged Bone...

Amber Bone...

Smooth Bone...

Peachseed...etc

What it was pictured in was really excellent though, HOW many more months to wait???
At least I can focus on this and not buy anything in the meantime...er, right!

That is awesome!!! I've been waiting for just the right Case/Bose collaboration to come along before I buy one....this is it. I love the size, the blades, the lines of the pattern, it's just perfect.

This will be the perfect piece to tide me over for the next couple years until my backpocket order comes up with Reese.
