Case/Bose is it worth the price?

They are great knives made with superior quality and a few strands of Tony's DNA in there somewhere. I had the good fortune to collect the entire Bose set but in my desire to pickup a few custom knives I had to break up the set. I still second guess that decision...

I still have a few to fondle on dark lonely nights at least until something else catches my eye....My favorite is a stag cotton sampler that keeps hanging around. :D

But if this incredible thing of beauty ever made it to the Case assembly line I would have to sell a few customs to make sure I owned it...:)

Thanks for your help Blues! (sadly, none are prepared to ship overseas)

I just picked up a Case XX / Tony Bose Swayback Jack, which will be a nice substitute for a while....

I'll keep looking.

Ozy, I have left a message for you on the visitor message page of your profile. Thank you!

Ashley

Ozy,

I will be glad to ship to you if you have trust to have your order shipped to me.

All I will ask for is to cover the shipping expense for me.

Gus

This thread is not rotten yet. I received a 2003 Case/Bose Dogleg few days ago and I was so amazed. I even compare it to a few custom slippie I had and it is still there to stay. I really like the dogleg, and yes I regret not to bought the cotton sampler that I saw a few month back.

My dogleg collab is sitting in my pocket as I type this. I have never seen nicer stag anywhere else as I have on this particular knife. Truly, a magnificent piece...

Yes, that Zulu hits the spot. Wonder if there are any more 'spy shots' of it?

Too sweet, Greg. Those compare favorably with your Cripple Creeks, especially the Wharnecliff slimline. Just beautiful, thanks.

I recently acquired a Case/Bose Swayback. The fit and finish is excellent. I'm getting hooked on them. Because of knowing the quality I picked up a Case/Bose Saddlehorn. I'm sure the demand on them will increase in the future. Will be posting pics soon.

The knives you are talking about are Bose designs built by Case but are not the Case-Bose collaboration knives discussed in this thread (which are a limited production produced annually).

Whats the deal with the case T. B. tribal spear why are they 250 bucks
what am i missing???? I mean its a nice looking knife but so is the sowbelly
the 2 blade jack etc. is it a limited run or what.

Also have any of you bought the Scagle barehead jack I like the looks of it,
but its pricey as well..

TIA

If you do a search you will find several threads about the Case/Bose collabs. Check out the photos there and I think you will be impressed.

In general most folks consider them about the best production (vs custom) you can get and an excellent value. Outstanding fit and finish!

I have an Ebony Norfolk and it is gorgeous and I plan to order an Ebony Tribal Spear when they come out.

And yes, they are limited runs.
