I do agree they are beautiful, but I am new to collecting folders so my knowledge is limited, but Bose collabs are 1st on my list to get, I was only curious because there is a large price difference in the collab"s,
Whats the deal with the case T. B. tribal spear why are they 250 bucks
what am i missing???? I mean its a nice looking knife but so is the sowbelly
the 2 blade jack etc. is it a limited run or what.
Also have any of you bought the Scagle barehead jack I like the looks of it,
but its pricey as well..
Yes, they're limited. They usually do a few 100 each year in a few different handle material each. From what I understand, Mr. T. Bose makes 2 knives for the given yr/pattern. One's to compare the limited production to & the other can be taken apart & is dissected by the small team that makes that years' knife.
F&F, material, etc, is way above that of the typical production Case. Are they worth it? That's subjective. I believe they're worth it & honestly, I have not heard/read anywhere where someone thought they're not. If you like high end slip-joints, I think you're going to love these.
