I have it narrowed down to the Wharncliffe Mini Trapper, molasses jigged bone I think.
I have one with the antique bone. I had put up a WTB and one of our gracious members, @Chief answered my call. I just put that one back into the drawer to carry the Eureka for a bit. You are welcome to give mine a test run for a couple weeks if you like? Just let me know. :thumbsup:
 
I appreciate the offer, but I think I'd be too nervous trying out such an expensive knife.

If so, maybe you just are not ready to spend that kind of money. Don’t torture yourself :) we’ve all been there. I bought my first Bose/Case at a gun show for $100, a Yukon Jack, not a popular pattern for gun buyers :). It was a few years plus literally saved pocket change before I got another.
