Case Tony Bose Collabs pic and discussion thread.

It took fifteen years, but I finally picked up a Norfolk. That was foolish of me, if I had gotten it sooner I could have been enjoying it all this time.

Lately I have been carrying some of my custom knives but today it was my newly acquired Case/Bose Norfolk. I am completely spoiled by these higher end blade steels.
Nice choice. I'm keeping an eye out for one in antique bone. They say the fun is in the hunt, but I gotta say that I'm not enjoying myself very much right now. That's what I get for lollygagging.

This one is going to be my Case knife.

Congrats. A great knife indeed.
It is. 👍🏼
Thanks for that link!
You're very welcome Gary.
She’s a beauty. Congratulations!
It's partially your fault Rick. The pics of your red Norfolk have haunted me for years. 🎃
Congrats! That one is exceptionally nice.
Thank you. You're partially at fault too, you started this thread which kept the Norfolk in my consciousness. 😱

My appreciation for these knives played a part in me becoming a maker. I'm happy to see this thread continues to thrive with our passion and enthusiasm.😁

kamagong kamagong But well worth the wait ;) Yours has exceptionally well matched scales, mine not so much but don't care as I can't see both sides at once :D I like the adoption of a small Clip as the minor blade, heavy pull on it too, nice to see this more often or a modified Spey/ Drop-Point on other single-spingers.

Thanks Will Power Will Power . It's a remarkable knife despite a couple of niggles.

l've long desired a Norfolk, but never seriously sought one out. On a lark I searched for them last week. Surprisingly I found two for sale, both with antique bone covers. The first was NIB and understandably more expensive. Mine was lightly used, but cost less. Price was not the deciding factor though. In conversation with the former owner I learned that the build quality was solid, with no unwelcome surprises to fret about. That the covers were well matched was just lagniappe. I made the right decision, I'm enamored with this knife. Who cares if it was used, they all are at this point and anyone who finds a Norfolk in this condition fifty years from now would be ecstatic.

I have no problems with opening the clip. Heavy pull sure, the secondary usually is on single spring knives. But at least I can open it, unlike the secondary blade on my WBB Norfolk.

Really nice color on that premium stockman Ironbut Ironbut . 👍🏼
