Any Trapperlock owners out there? Is there a small nic/indentation above the screw in yours?

John,

Give people a chance to see the thread. Please don't bump it unnecessarily.

Patience, please.

Hi John. My Trapperlock does not have that. It looks like someone countersunk it way to deep for the screw. The screw head should be just under flush.

There is none of that on mine either...
I'm sure if you sent it in to Case they would replace the blade on it for you.
Let me know if you need some contact info.

You sure don't want to go through life with a flaw like that on That knife.;)

:thumbup:Thanks

I have the reciept & boxes.I'm going to send it in for an exchange.

Moving over to "Feedback" now that the issue is heading toward resolution.

I just talked to Shepherd Hills CS.,Nice people.

I'm shipping it out today.

They said it's on back order,so I'll probably have to wait awhile for a new one.

I'll follow up here, when I get the new one.

I got a new one in the mail yesterday.Shepherd Hills came through on their end.

The fit & finish on this Case is ok,not perfect.Maybe I'm too harsh of a judge.

I think I'm done buying Cases online.Too many flaws slipping through QC lately.

Thats a nice lookin knife John. Glad to hear SH did ya good. Sounds like your still not happy with it though.
I know they don't give away the Stag / Dam knives, if your still not happy with it, contact Case.
I haven't dealt with them since Shirley left, but in the past they have been very good to deal with
