Case Trapperlocks, whose got 'em?

This is the one I have, I really like it, my only complaint is due to the smooth bone the pocket clip dosnt have much to grip onto. Other than that I love mine

You may have hit on one of the reasons I like the clip: it is not too grippy. It sits in place nicely, probably as much due to balance as grip, & slides on & off with less fuss than most clip knives. Mine has textured bone, but it slides easily.

Case does currently make several of the Trapperlock versions in CV steel, though only in jigged bone. They made a stag-handled version in their Stag Rancher CV family which is not currently in production, but you might still be able to find them.

Case makes the Chestnut jigged bone in CV. A beautiful knife. I have one. They also make the yellow handle in CV. I have one. The Stag is no longer made but are still available if you look hard enough.
One issue I had was with a John Deere version. The detent was non-existent. My other two were perfect. This is my 2nd favorite Case locking design. My favorite is the Mid-Folding Hunter. I want this knife in Chestnut Bone and CV.

e got one and it came with a collectible tin.

Thought I'd give this thread a bump to see of the OP ever scored a trapperlock.

When I get a chance, I think I might try to force a patina on my yella handled CV TL. If anyone else has done this and would like to post pics, that would be much appreciated.
