Cast Iron Beckerheads, Sound Off!

Finished. Total cost $9.35 for a quart of Rustoleum. Thanks for the inspiration LostViking. Now all I have to do is get you to teach me how to cook. :D

I quit. Anybody want to buy some cast iron cheap? :p

Some of my Large Block Griswolds. 8,9,10, 11,12 and my favorate Number 14.

I'm going to start hitting Goodwill and yard sales in search of some Griswold goodness.

Oh wait... I'm selling everything. Nevermind.

Nice collection.

Okay, okay, it's a gas grill, but the grates are cast iron. ;)

Well, Trade has already shown me up, but I'm joining the club too.

We have some cinder blocks on the farm, but not enough to stack to table height. So I built at ground level with just rocks. Total cost: $0. Scrounging is fun.

This is all LostViking's fault. Fun though isn't it? :D

How's this for cast iron? It's an i-beam cut down with handles welded on. We set it on cinder blocks and cut down hardwood (mostly oak) into 1" strips and can cook most meals with about 1/2 of a standard sized split chunk of wood.

Heating up the venison taco meat, complete with oak splitting tool in the foreground:

Breakfast of champions...one dozen eggs got whipped up and mixed with the potatoes and vegetables.
