  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Cast Iron Beckerheads, Sound Off!

A friend brought me some elk steaks so now I'm living like a king.

colcannon fixin's: diced taters, onion, and cabbage next to bangers simmering in stout. (some of the bangers may appear in a future food pic)
once the bangers were done, the veggies were simmered in the remaining juice. then I sliced up 2 sausages and mixed them in with the veggies.

Roasting some garlic for my bone broth.

Now just wait another 5 hours for the bones to simmer.

I just used the same garlic pan for my sons egg for his McMuffin. He said. I don’t know what you did differently but that egg was awesome!

Yea, it doesn't get used though. The cast iron cleans up in seconds, where the stove top is a chore.
