What is my cat doing in your house?
This is the best pic of her I have online.

Hollow it seems your cats follows you around too!

When I go on walks around the yard (an acre or so) My cat follows me around and scratches at vole holes. She is awesome.

Mr Prissy the pointy nosed one can go about 2 miles. Kittyangel the flat faced one can hike about a mile before her short legs and flat nose cause her to fall out panting.

They both LOVE to go though. And my Pyr loves kitties so he goes to protect them:D

Post deleted due to the possibility of offending someone. (Now, hurry up and get that cat out to me!)

Subsequent deleted response because Mitch put the cat out in his post. It caught fire three times.

I am DEATHLY allergic to cats. I've had to be rushed to the hospital because of cats more than 5 times in my life. Other than that I think they're pretty cool. I just can't be in a house where cats live and come into any physical contact with them. A friend's wife thought it was funny and a joke and was letting her crazy cat come at me. This was not a normal nice cat. This was a nuts cat who was known for attacking everyone, even it's owners. She was laughing up until I pulled my gun out and pointed it at the cat and said, "If you don't come get this cat, I'm going to turn it inside out. It's either him or me." She ran over and picked it up, at which point it scratched the crap out of her. It's a shame though. I do think cats for the most part are very interesting and nifty animals. Despite my limitations with cats, I have had a pet cat before. He was a barn cat that showed up one day. It was a good relationship. He hunted the barn mice and I fed him, and in return he kept his distance but still hung around me. It was like he knew i couldn't touch him, but he still thought I had a good personality. lol. He would get close enough to let me know he was walking with me, but he would never get too close. I thought he was really cool. When i moved, I had a conversation with him to see if he wanted to come with me. He decided that the barn was his home. The new owners were really cool about it. They had a kid who liked cats.

I have a friend whose wife is terribly allergic to cats. To the point that he has to immediatly put his clothes in the washer and take a shower when he gets home from my house:rolleyes:

I'm allergic to really fine haired cats like Himalayans or silky shorthaired cats but not terribly allergic. I'm also really allergic to Border Collies but I have 3:D but they are outside dogs.

But by far I love cats the most.

Heated Cat houses? Is that an electric cable I see going in there? That's a luxury...nice felines in this thread, even if pet cats are small you can see their connexion to their bigger wilder cousins.

Psy-ops, that pic of your cat and the birdhouse would make a great addition to those signs that Cougar uses when he moves a thread...

Very true.

It has always sort of puzzled me that a lot of the so called "cat haters" are often macho type guys who enjoy hunting and outdoor stuff. Not all of course, I'm sorta generalizing here so bear with me.;)

Yet to me kitties more characterize the fierce independant self reliant hunter or outdoors person than a dog does. I like dogs, I own 5, so I want to put that out as a fact that I am not a dog hater.

Deadeyelefty, I didn't even think of that. That is funny. His have more of that post card look. I am not sure how he gets that.

I am not offended by cat haters. Speaking only for myself. I believe in natural selection and cats have staying power.

Some extremely cute cats in this thread! Cats are some of my favourite animals. Those things really have personality. :D

We have a Persian that's strickly a house cat and one outside cat. I made a cat house out of one of those big Rubbermaid storage containers. My wife put a cat bed inside and I donated one of my hot seats for hunting for the floor. My buddy stays nice and warm inside. He follows me around the yard and keeps me company when i'm outside heat treating.
Scott.
