Cats and dogs.....my cat....

Here are a few pics of my boys... Beau is gray and white (27 pounds), Bandit is black and white (25 pounds)
And the newest member of our family is Loki an English Mastiff who is growing faster than i can keep up. He was 16 pounds 3 1/2 weeks ago when we got him and he's 30 pounds as of today ( he's 13 1/2 weeks old)

Those are some great couch dogs, but they look sorta stressed to me.....

The pants i shall remember....that is something which can work for sure and not drive many crazy.....now, who is the tailor is what i want to know....

As for the above pups, i cannot see it, all i see is noses and snowshoes or maybe feet....are they hiding behind that adorable stuff? I would be scared of those cats too, if i were a puppy!....i had one cat years ago named Dawg.....i would call the Dawg to the amusement and fear of visitors....Dawg was solid black and mostly bobcat and another abandoned baby i adopted, had to bottle feed him, cute little black kitten with tufted ears and bob tail and grew to a 37 lb monster with tennis racquet paws with talons and had to use welders gloves to play with him....he would wait for me to come home and be on top of a bookcase or something and land on my shoulders/neck......

37 pounds!!.. I bet the neighborhood dogs were terrified of that thing!!

He would bring home rabbits and leave them on the steps as a present...this was out in the country where packs of wild dogs would roam and dangerous for humans...drop offs from the city folk....vicious and sneaky and killers who would pull the legs off a barn tabby for fun......i told Dawg to have fun when i let him out to hunt....

I am in love with Loki.......you will need cabinet locks for upper cabinets or be ready to hide all boxed and bagged foods in the microwave....friend had a great dane Gracie who would eat a loaf of bread and box of doughnuts wrapper, box and all.....just while we went to dinner....

Those are some big ol' cats, Fenris! Are they siblings? Their markings are very similar.

Here's a picture I took of a Liger that lives at a big cat rescue nearby

I need to take that one home to the farm and tell mom to let him loose on the dog packs....be more effective even than Dawg.....not much of a rescued life, and not much option, but better than being dead....preventing misery by preventing animals and people is a line of reasoning that i can never follow as it leads only to a very dark hole except for favored few.....a true shame no wider fenced spaces for such magnificent animals to roam....

We are Loki proofing the house.. but he's already able to put his paws on the counter.

Good eye Philllll,, they are brothers..
we only planned on addopting Beau,, but when we realized his brother was at the shelter as well it was an easy decision to keep them together.

Fortunately they do have a big open space for them to let loose, but it's shared by several lions and tigers so they bring them in in shifts to keep them from fighting. I have some more pics from our visit that I will share when I get a chance. They have one white tiger with a feline form of Down's syndrome due to inbreeding. Happens more often than you would think in captivity due to the high value of the white bengals.

Welcome to the Mastiff lifestyle. We have a 2 year old Neapolitan Mastiff. Don't bother with crate training, the whole house is their crate. She bent the metal crate we had until the door popped off. We put her in a room with a "dutch" half door. She jumped it. We put her in the mudroom with all her toys and bed. She chewed the doorknob off and let herself out. The last time I forgot to put the remote control away I went back to the cable company and the woman said, "you'd better take two" because I'd been there 4 times already. Buy stock in a paper towel company. Make sure that you check yourself in the mirror for "mastiff schmutz" before leaving for work. Despite the fact that she is over 100 lbs, she still thinks she is a lap dog.

Best damn dog we ever had

Puff opens closed doors using knob and i must keep my bedroom door locked at night so i can sleep during kitty hunt/kill/play time.....rest of house is his but at least he respects my dish cabinets.....pantry shelves and lower cabinets and anything is his....

Lol!!.. I just need to make sure that when he's 150 pounds he knows I'm in charge. ( his dad is 165 pounds moms is 125 pounds):)

Sounds like you better get cha a whip and a chair, maybe a 45 for a worst case scenario.

Fine looking dog. Best be kind to him when he hits the 150 mark, being in charge is highly overated, let him be in charge and live.
