Cattaragus'.... Lets see 'em.

Mike-it's 3 3/8" closed. I'm not sure about the cleaning, but I would assume so, as it looks it. There is a hairline crack in the bone on the back-side, but all-in-all, in pretty good shape. Not too sure if there are too many older ones around, but it is a great pattern, that has really made a strong comeback....Tony

This blades on this barlow has taken a few rides on the buffer, but it still has great snap in and out of the half stops. It looks like at one time it had some nice swedges. My only Catt.

Hal I think back in the day it was the norm to buff them up to get the rust off and shine them up.It definately looks like it was someones companion.

Yeah, it appears it was all a part of being a working knife. It was not buffed up to fool anyone. It still has a lifetime of work left in it if someone wanted to give it a job. :D

For Navihawk here's a pair of Sleeve Boards the smaller one is 3 3/8" closed and the larger one is 3 5/8".

Thanks Barry. The bigger one was like mine with the clip blade. Mine was in ebony and the main blade was a lot shorter due to use and maybe mis-use.

Jeez, those whittlers of yours Barry. Those master blades have some serious heft at the base. I like the not so run of the mill shields too.

I believe Cattaraugus refers to this a Oriental Pearl. It's super colorful and very thin. I'm guessing not every cutler in the shop could pin this handle. The pouch is what puts this one "over the top" for me......Barry

Barry that thing is beautiful. That indian head snap on the slip is unbelievable.

Barry, your knives are simply awesome!:cool:

I've enjoyed the show Barry. Thanks for posting them. I think you should bring them to Blade next year. :)

Steve, it says ANDREWS. I am unsure if this was personalized & possibly a one of a kind etch or if it is advertising for the retailer that sold it....If only the knives could talk, Oh what a tale they could tell.....Barry

These last three are unbelievable, Barry! Just the best!!
What amazing condition!!

I look at all the jigging on these knives and wonder if mine is a fake.Anyone have any info on #22089?

Although this knife has a broken blade and has seen some rough service in it's user life, it is a treasured member of my Catt collection. Its a brass enameled figural champagne pattern knife. The knife holds a cool secret......anyone care to guess? I'm sure one of you guys must know. Barry
