This is all so exciting! Really wish money grew on trees. And wish that I could've got on that super-exclusive VIP list...
 
Guy at the knife shop said it's one of the most beautiful knives he has ever seen. Said it's incredible in person. One could argue he was just trying to sell it but as fast as they went, he probably didn't feel like he had to talk it up.

I agree. Figure you will see them up for sale in a week or so for 700ish. Just gonna pick me up a regular production 56x( don't have one anyway) and MAYBE pick up a cbcf in a few months once the price stabilizes.
 
I printed off a couple of those photos and put them up in my locker at work. I can't get enough of that beautiful blade and smooth ti lock side!
 
K, since chester mentioned knife karma, I wanted to see if it would anger the knife gods to get an extra one and put it on ebay to help cover some of the cost of your own knife. Will that get someone shunned in the knife world. Thinking it might be the only way I can justify keeping one for my own. Getting one for my dad for a 60th bday present, but really want one of these. :S
